Normally, you should see quotes within a day. If your blog is public and in English, and you still do not see any quotes within a few days, please let us know.

Make sure that your typepad blog is public (instructions). Search engines are not permitted to index private blogs. For the widget to function properly, opinmind needs to index your blog entries. Note, even after you change your blog to public, previous posts will likely remain private, so the widget will only display quotes from subsequent posts.

We only process English language text currently. If your blog is predominantly in a foreign language, then most likely you will see no quotables in your widget.

Opinmind processes the blog entries in your rss/atom feed, which normally contains your most recent 5-10 entries. We begin monitoring your blog from the moment you register for the widget. This means that the quotables can go back 5-10 entries from that date, but no earlier.

Opinmind processes each registered typepad blog at least once per day. If your widget has not updated recently, the most likely cause is that we did not found opinions in your recent posts. Ultimately, our goal is to be able to identify each and every opinion expressed in your blog. We are continuing to work towards that goal. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience.
